Akkun to Kanojo
This series is an inspiring story of Akkun and his younger sister trying to afford a wheelchair for his girlfriend, who suffers from severe spastic diplegia of her legs and needs to be carried everywhere because walking is fatiguing, and is also about Akkun’s friend who has yet to give up on his PS Vita. Both of these characters battle against the odds, with Akkun’s girlfriend overcoming prejudice against her lack of mobility with an affable personality, while Akkun’s friend remains stalwart in his defiance of dwindling sales, corporate negligence of viable platform, and the continued domination of the handheld market by Nintendo. Both Akkun’s girlfriend and boy friend learn the value of staying true to themselves, but also the value of upgrades, with Akkun’s girlfriend getting her wheelchair and Akkun’s boy friend buying a PS4 Pro. The feel-good anime of the season.

My Hero Academia 3rd Season
Originally written in the 1980s, My Hero Academia 2018 paints a dystopian future where chuunibyou, or “eighth-grade syndrome” is no longer considered a disease, but a normal part of life - and mandatory. Our rather-wouldn’t-be hero Dorku doesn’t really want any part of these ridiculous superhero make-believe shenanigans, but he’ll be held back a year (and forced to do it all again) if he doesn’t play along. The teachers are having way too much fun, his classmates completely buy into their own made-up hype, and the paid fall-guy villains just finished their pay-raise strike and are itching to get back into action. Poor Dorku is gonna be up to his lottery-chosen stupid hairdo in the cringe-iest BS imaginable.
Nil Admirari no Tenbin

She then rubs the books on various objects, each other and herself to gain sexual pleasure, which further fuels her powers.
Nobunaga no Shinobi: Anegawa Ashiyama Hen
The very late-night series Nobunaga no Shinobi depicts Oda Nobunaga’s conquest of all the married women of feudal Japan, as he commands his squad of loli ninjas to bind and gag their husbands while he NTRs them in their bedrooms, all in a cutesy chibi art style. This season covers the historic Battle of Anegawa, where Nobunaga deals with the daimyo Asakura Yoshikage over his wife, the only remaining daughter of Hosokawa Harumoto he hasn’t already sunk his poisonous fangs into. He then takes on Azai Nagamasa in a fateful battle over one of the most important women Nobunaga could possibly defile: his own sister, Oichi.

Persona 5: The Animation
A 50 hour art film about a high schooler standing perfectly still in the middle of a Tokyo zebra crossing, while strangers pass him by and traffic is interrupted. It’s meant to symbolise the fleeting nature of interactions, the stagnation of youth, and the impatience of drivers, but all of this is incidental to the fact that the guy was out on a fashion shoot modelling this year’s new spring-wear. Should be riveting stuff.
Piano no Mori (2018)

When tuned correctly, playing the national anthem of Great Britain on it will grant him the rightful authority as King. Joe and Gomamon attempt to join the school’s soccer team in this Digimon spinoff, based on a 4koma doujin. Protip: Seals don’t make good soccer balls, even if they’re totally awesome monster seals that can freeze people solid. Now, as goalies, that’s a different story...
Steins; Gate 0
This is the funeral for the double murder of German and grammar that occurred in the first series. Fitting really, as stein means “rock”, which is what tombstones are made of, and usually cemeteries have gates. Okabe was just searching for the right funeral parlour all of this time. Apparently only Okabe gives a damn though, because pretty much everyone else is wearing their regular clothes. Makise didn’t even bother to show up. Or maybe she’s out there killing the concept of zero for the sake of general completeness, forcing us to back to Greek antiquity. Probably would be easier using a time machine though. Who knows really?
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online
Kirito may have won Gun Gale Online’s Bullet of Bullets tournament, but he’ll need all his power to conquer an even more challenging tournament in the game: The Ballet of Bullets dance-off tournament. The road to the tournament won’t be easy and he will have his fair share of competitors, including a small blonde Dance Dance Revolution pro, the only character in the entire game that wears pink, a pole dancer, and some scary looking tough guy who’s actually a sweetheart and a great dancer once you get to know him. Will Kirito be able to magically become a god at dancing at the last moment in order to move the plot forward in this dancing spin-off? Find out that the answer is yes this spring!
Sword Gai the Animation
Kirito meets Aizen in one of the most utterly ludicrous showdowns in crossover history. Who really has the biggest sword?
Animated by the all-star team behind Berserk, because boy howdy do they know their swords, and they’re certain to give this show exactly the kind of production it deserves.
Tachibana to Lie Angle
The “Lie Angle” is the heretofore unknown angle at which a blank pocket dimension in space is accessible and the direction of gravitational acceleration is inverted. So some people live on what we would call the ceiling and Tachibana’s clothing needs to held down in place. Life is a struggle.
Tada-kun wa o Shinai
Tada-kun and his group of friends take care of a blind cat. When not caring for the cat, they try to converse with each other, only to find that every one of them is dour and facing an existential crisis that drains their lives and clothes of colour. Their smiling faces are façades and their connections are tenuous at best. The group was brought together by the cat, and only exists because of the cat. This romantic comedy revolves around trying to artificially prolong the blind cat’s existence beyond its natural life expectancy, so that Taka-kun can keep up the pretence of companionship, and not have to face the crippling nature of reality alone. Wacky hijinks ensue.
To Be Hero 2
To be hero, or not to be hero, that is the question:
Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,

Those with the dual-X having increased domestication inflicted upon them, manifesting various animalistic features they are then made to mimic the activities thereof. Youkai Watch: Shadow Side
What do a junior law student, a soccer ace, a buddhist monk in training, and a completely average girl with no special capabilities have in common? Absolutely nothing, but that doesn’t make for a good story, so we locked them in a trap-laden, abandoned school with cursed wristwatches that periodically conjure minor demons. Also, the watches will explode and kill them if they don’t escape in exactly 12 hours. Join us for Youkai Watch, Hell’s newest reality TV show, where we watch kids freak out and occasionally die while we eat popcorn, point, and laugh.

**Please do not use this blurbs as an indication of what to expect from your anime! They are all made up!

That said, all of these anime titles are airing in Spring. You can find the Spring 2018 anime listings with correct information on Anichart, MyAnimeList, or AniDB. Additionally, AniTAY will be putting out a Sequel Guide, as per usual, in the coming weeks, so please look out for that! Lastly, while we have probably left you more confused as to the nature of the Spring anime, we hope that you had a few laughs along the road to discombobulation.
