All right, because Proton is busy doing other important stuff, I’ll be taking over the Café today. Here’s today’s topic: What is your favorite anime soundtrack? If you can’t nail down your favorite soundtrack, then who is your favorite composer that has worked on anime?

I’ve personally been digging Gintama’s soundtrack, especially the battle themes (which have some amazing guitar) and the more somber themes (the piano is just... I can’t describe it). I plan to import the soundtrack someday. For a composer, I have to say Taku Iwasaki. I’ve never disliked any of his work, and I always look forward to whatever anime he is composing for. He also brings in Lotus Juice (the rapper from the Persona series) for his soundtracks, usually for an insert song or two.
