Hello everyone! Many of us in the U.S. are enjoying an extended Thanksgiving holiday weekend. If you are anything like me, you may be spending this time in a semi-vegetative state while your digestive system desperately attempts to compensate for your poor eating decisions.

So a simple question for this week, “What series would you recommend for people to watch over this weekend?” Does the series fit the holiday? or is it simply something you wish more people would see? Lets try to make sure a regular person can finish the series over the next two days.

My recommendation this weekend is surprisingly not anime. Recently I’ve been on a bit of a Netflix binge, but I’ll actually sidestep the easy pick of Netflix’s “The Punisher” and go with another Netflix show I stumbled upon. My pick is a Japanese live action series called “Million Yen Women”, a mystery show for a somewhat mature audience, it consists of twelve 25-minute episodes, and I’m told is based off of a manga (which I really need to hunt down). People who enjoyed anime like Beautiful Bones or Erased may take a shine to it. I found it to be the type of show that can stick with you a bit after seeing it.

I look forward to hearing everyone’s suggestions, enjoy your weekend!
