Title: Invoke | Artist: TM Revolution | Show: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

Description: Invoke is the first opening of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. The show was a highly successful spin-off Gundam show that is essentially a highly condensed version of the original Mobile Suit Gundam and some of the most awesome parts of the UC universe. It's awesome, and that's coming from a fan of UC shows (UC purists are mean).

Anyway, Invoke is backed by an animation reel that is full of Sunrise opening tropes, complete with people looking in odd directions and Gundam fanservice shots. It's a very good song to open the series on too, since while it's fairly low-key, it has a sort of space-opera quality to it.

Why You Picked it: I really enjoyed SEED and I think it's one of the best Gundam shows, simply because it is sheer concentrated Gundam awesome. Out of the four openings, Invoke probably has the widest appeal with its consistent beat and (as mentioned) space-opera qualities. It was a great opening for the first quarter of the show that reflected how it was taking place in space. They later switched openings when they landed on the planet, reflecting its shift from space opera to a different setting.
