Some pieces of media seek to evoke a sense of nostalgia within its viewers and I tend to gravitate to things that try to do this. It really brings me back to when I was a kid, getting my mind blown by crazy new ideas or interesting visuals. Grand Fantasy the Animation gives me some of those feelings, but now that I’m older, I can see many of the faults of the shows I saw back in the day and shows that try to emulate the same kind of feeling.
