I’ve found the anime that I enjoy the most are animes that can surprise me. After… jesus… 10+ years of watching anime, it has been getting harder and harder to find animes that can really catch me off guard, but Aggretsuko came out of nowhere and has become one of my favorite animes this season.

Aggretsuko follows Retsuko as she has to deal with her shitty work conditions in her office job in an corporate accounting office without going insane. Despite the often depressing subject matter and how many times things don’t go Retsuko’s way, Retsuko is able to pick herself up and grow as a person. It was just so fun to see the different ways Retsuko grow despite all of her challenges.

If you’re looking for something to watch and only have about 2 hours of free time, I would heavily recommend you checkout Aggretsuko. You can stream Aggretsuko subbed and dubbed on Netflix.
