It's finally here. [Important announcements inside]

House Rules:

1. Do not discuss past the covered episode in the post. Because people are expected to have already watched the week's episodes, spoiler tags are unnecessary.

2. If you've seen the series beforehand, please don't ruin the fun for others and spoil the story Discussion of such material is not prohibited but please exercise caution in posting. If you really wish to discuss material further along than what we've watched, please put bountiful and large spoiler warnings. Replies to spoiler-y material should also have spoiler warnings.

3. GIFs are appreciated. Have fun and be nice or whatever!

Ok, so, I really can't start this post without talking about that last episode since that really stuck with me. I still cringe when I think about it, really.

Look at that. That is the face of evil. We don't really know much about the girl he killed except that she's Anri's friend and she's a stalker but, damn, seeing her dead body on the floor was still a shock. Knowing that she's most probably dead dead is just...I dunno. It's really creepy.

Anyway, onto less dark things...

Is that Detective Gumshoe!?

I'm really liking Shizuo's character. The whole Shizuo episode was jsut really fun.

His calm demeanor when dealing with someone who isn't Izaya is also quite funny. Seiji vs Shizuo was hilariously lopsided.

It's Leliel!

Ok, before I close this post, we have a few AniClub matters to discuss. First is the number of episodes we're watching every week. It's been suggested that we increase the number of episodes per week (for this show). There are 16 episodes left. We can watch 5 episodes per week and be done in 3 weeks. It seems a lot of people have already binge watched the show and most of the other regulars have already watched it beforehand. If you agree with this move to 5 episodes per week, please do note it in your comments.

Second, I need a co-host. As this extremely late post has shown, it's getting hard for me to handle AniClub. Even just being active on TAY is starting to get hard. Lots of work, learning and internet problems to deal with. It'll also be good to spice things up a bit. If you want to volunteer, please do comment down below.
