Pre-screening Event of Sailor Moon: Crystal Is Women's Only

The official website for the 20th anniversary of the Sailor Moon franchise announced on Friday that there will be an advance premiere screening event for the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal anime series. The women's fashion magazine ViVi is collaborating on the June 30 event to celebrate the heroine Usagi's birthday.

The "birthday party" will feature ViVi models and "secret guests." The Zepp Diver City facility in Tokyo will host the screening of the new anime's first episode on June 30 at 7:00 p.m. However, the staff caution that the time is subject to change. Moreover, male attendees will not be allowed — unless accompanied by a female attendee, so loners are out of luck it seems, unless.... you know what forget it, I was going to write something very dumb.

Haruhi Franchise Isn't Dead (Probably)

Illustration for article titled iAni-TAY News/i: May 23, 2014

Not only are we getting an Anime adaptation of spin-off manga The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, but now there's one other Haruhi franchise bit to look forward to.

At the end of April there were some rumors that a Pachinko slot machine produced by Sankyo was on the works, but now there's a certain teaser announcement that can confirm this.

In the promo Image you can see on the side, you can read "Fever Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu) a name pretty similar to the one the Sankyo machine was supposed to have. The teaser also comes with a QR code that redirects to the website (which as of now, is still restricted for entry)

It seems the franchise is getting a new project, now we just need to wait for Tanigawa to write some more

Because Rating Opening and Endings is popular nowadays (and believe me I enjoy those quite a bit) I bring you this Top 10 of Anime Opening and Endings obtained trough a poll made by Charapedia (10,000 votes)

1.- [Opening] Toaru Kagaku no Railgun: "Only my Railgun"

No susprises there, I know how ridiculously popular both Only my Railgun and Kimi no Shiranai Monogarati (personal favorite) are on polls in Japan. But how about you?

But that's not all I also bring you this Charapedia (also with 10,000 votes!) Top 10 of Meganekko or Glasses-wearing girls
