Genres: Comedy, Romance, Fantasy, Supernatural, Shoujo.

Unfortunately for her, she is not given any special powers because it's the new god's responsibility to bring their own. With no powers, one would think there's not much this new god could do, and they'd be mostly right. Being a human has many weaknesses, but it also has one benefit in particular: understanding how the human heart works. With this knowledge, this new god can start her career somewhere.

Tokyo Ghoul 2nd Season

Anticipation Level: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

Genres: Psychological Thriller, Action, Mystery, Drama, Supernatural.

Tokyo Ghoul's Tagline Synopsis: Humans don't normally eat other humans. In fact, it's illegal and heavily shunned upon in the modern age. This begs the question: what would a modern society be like if a significant amount of humans regularly ate other people? Tokyo Ghoul sets up a society like this.

There are two types of humanity: normal humans and ghouls. Ghouls have to eat human flesh once a month in order to live, and to help their hunt they have retractable biological appendages that serve as weapons. To fight the ghouls, a special human task force uses the appendages of dead ghouls as their weapons. The only way to be Human is to be born a human. Inversely, the only way to be a ghoul is to be born a ghoul, or so it is thought.

If You're a Prospective Viewer: Tokyo Ghoul serves the viewer well when it comes to visuals and music. People hunting for these aspects are sure to find something great. In certain parts of the show however, there is strong censorship. The censorship can be avoided once the Blu-Ray version comes out if you're willing to wait.

The characters are well written and the character development is almost through the roof. However, the story is not for the weak. Death, blood, pain, torture, and of course cannibalism are very much present. That being said, those who like such aspects will most likely enjoy it.
