Well I had to post a non-Monogatari series song eventually, right? Today I present to you one of the most catchy, funny, and original EDs in recent memory. Once you hear it and see it, you are not likely to get it out of your head.

Title: Witch☆Activity | Artist: TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND | Anime: Witch Craft Works

Witch Craft Works is a very visually impressive, funny and quirky little series. Its premise is basically a stereotypical magical shojo anime that is gender swapped to have the male lead as the "damsel in distress". The show is not particularly strong as far as story, but it did throw an impressive amount of gorgeous visuals and character designs at the viewer. In some moments, the ED showcases many of the characters from the series and during the course of the season the roster of characters in the ED are expanded as those characters are introduced. But the majority of the ED is dominated by the series' version of "Team Rocket", the five tower witches of the KMM Gang (KMM Dan). This group is featured in their normal form as well in their Chibi versions. Never has medieval torture been so damn cute! KMM Dan is also sometimes credited as the performers of Witch☆Activity. The song itself is almost as catchy as the visuals are fun.

I hope you enjoyed today's OP/ED, I'll be back in a couple of weeks with another one of my favorites. If you liked it, check out my previous entry, the equally infectious Nisemonogatari OP,Platinum Disco.

Jonuiuc is an infrequent contributor of convention photography on TAY. You will most likely see him in the comment sections of ani-tay articles and occasionally contributing some writing that is light on graphics and lighter on editing. Even though jonuiuc can't understand Japanese, he loves karaoke, scenes featuring chibis, and all things catchy. He doesn't like everything, he just likes what he likes.

The bonus non-anime related song for today also features funny, if not similarly morbid, animation and lyrics. From the (semi) legendary punk group, The Vandals, "My Girlfriend's Dead".
