No good Kikko faces this week, so this is from last week. You know the deal. Concrete Revolutio Episodes 1-6 ahead.
If you’ve missed any of the previous episodes about the timeline you can find them here. This episode was a little slower than the previous one, focusing mostly on a comedy band called the Mountain Horses. If you’re interested, the band performing this episode that seemingly gave the Mountain Horses their powers might be a reference to the Beatles coming to Japan. It seems that in this world, superpowers can develop randomly and without warning. The Media production group are also showing their cards by secretly developing the superpower suppression drug Neynorine with the help of the government. Many factions are aiming to bring down the superhuman threat. We also get to spend some time with Jiro in the future, no longer with the Bureau. Indeed, Hyouma Yoshimura/Mr. Jaguar already considers Jiro an enemy, while Furuuota opts to converse with Jiro. Meanwhile, Jiro is trying to recruit superhumans to join him in his fight. Interesting to note, while Jiro is not with the Bureau anymore, he still doesn’t have that scarf that we’ve seen in the moments in the future. Most of this episode is contained in the 42nd and 44th years, though we do come back for the 41st year for a minute and a reference to the 45th year is also made.
