1st Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo Anime DVD Slated for December

What is this you ask? Well, some time ago Liden Films created a short Anime CM to promote Miki Yoshikawa's new Manga Yamada and the Seven Withches ( the CM was starred by Hayami Saori as Urara and Ryota Ohsaka as Yamada). When the CM reached 1 million views a new promo was released announcing that the Manga was getting and Anime adaptation in the form of a special chapter on DVD (Now confirmed as a OAD project). Now Weekly Shonen Magazine announced that the first DVD is slated for a December release and we will be getting more details when the new Manga volume is released (July 16)

As a curious note, the second CM (the one above) has the main cast of Yoshikawa's debut manga Yankee-kun to Megane-chan (kwnon as Flunk Punk Rumble in the US) watching the Yamada CM in Youtube.

Yamada and the Seven Witches Manga is available in Crunchyroll Manga service (Premium users only) and also there's a live-action adaptation out there. Via: ANN

Oreimo After Story Short Story Published This Week

Kanzaki Hiro Gashū Cute, the first art collection book devoted to Oreimo's novel illustrator Hiro Kanzaki, is shipping today (Tuesday) with a short story titled "Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai After Story." Oreimo author Tsukasa Fushimi personally wrote the short story after ending the main novel series. The story begins in the fall at the maid cafe Pretty Garden and takes place AFTER the ending of the Light Novel, so if by now you're still holding hopes about this, well look forward to it. Via: ANN

Ansatsu Kyôshitsu (Assassination Classroom) is getting an Anime (and a live-action) adaptation

After rumors arose that the series was getting an TV Anime adaptation (let's remember that there's already an 40-minute special chapter (you can find it online if you search for it)) because in June 22 the domain ansatsu-anime.com was registered, Shueisha Comic News announced that the series in indeed getting a TV Anime adaptation (and a live action) slated for next year

The story of the original manga begins after 70% of the moon was suddenly vaporized in an explosion. The super lifeform responsible for this catastrophe is a strange tentacled creature that can slink around at supersonic Mach 20 speeds. It has a 10 billion yen (US$100 million) price on its head, but for some reason, this creature ends up teaching a middle school class at the beginning of the school year. Re: Hamatora Anime's 1st Full Promo

Beware, the PV is FULL OF SPOILERS for the ending of the first season so thread with care

In this link you can find a translation of the PV, but then again is FULL OF SPOILERS, but in less spoilerific news, you can hear the openings and ending themes which will be "Sen no Tsubasa" by Livetune adding Takuro Sugawara (from 9mm Parabellum Bullet) , and "Brand New World" by Ayami, the voice of Hamatora's Chiyū.

Akuma no Riddle may be getting an Extra episode

You may remember that when it was first announced, Akuma no Riddle was slated as a 13 episode Anime but at the last hour that number was changed to 12. Well now in this scan they're announcing that the Blu-ray will include the 13th episode but they didn't say what is it gonna be about. The scan also mentions that there might be some changes in episode 7 (the Suzu Shutou one) As of now, the BD is still marked as 48-minute long, so this is not yet official. Via: Ihoshiku

This time we are talking about hair color in Anime. Japanese website DDNavi has taken to the streets of the Japanese Anime capital of Akihabara, and they asked Anime fans in the area who did they think were the best red-haired, pink-haired and green-haired female characters in Anime, you can check them in the useful chart below.

No Mizuki Himeji in the pink hair one? No Kaname Chidori in the blue hair one? Come on Japan you can do better than that:P
