It’s time for the changeup! Kikko barely had time this week, but a young Emi will suffice. In the meantime, almost all of the players argue over what to do.

This is exactly the kind of episode I’ve been waiting for after all of these introductions for 20 episodes. Finally, nearly everyone involved in previous storylines gets together to argue/discuss current events and debate their place in them. We had an all robot conference between Detective Raito, Megasshin and Earth-chan and many, many other appearances from other players like Judas, Haruka Aki and Grosse Augen. As the end seems to be approaching, this is exactly what Concrete needs to start doing: All the pieces are in place, now we need to start crashing them together.

Master Ultima creating a new police force for superhuman crimes continues to be the overwhelming favorite for the big bad that will face reckoning in the end. But it’s interesting to note that even those on Jiro’s side are split about how to oppose the anti-superhuman forces, as Detective Raito and Haruka are much more revolutionary and violent than even Jiro or Megasshin. Meanwhile, they fight the Assistant to Imperial Ads Leader in their latest Big-Robot NUTS. A lesser show would have made a joke about the name, but it ends up leading to the same destructive liquid that almost destroyed the Immortal Family.

But the most interesting aspect of the episode, at least for me, is the Imperial Ads guy’s plans. An anti-superhuman film release that we haven’t seen? Using Claude’s helmet to make the not-super-humans super while in NUTS? Even the assistant is losing her complete loyalty to the head guy after that one.

But Jiro puts on the helmet and we get even more than we bargained for in flashbacks. Jiro and younger Emi together is the best. But wait, a longer flashback brings the Imperial Ads Guy and The Doctor together to discuss the atomic bomb. Or rather it’s failure. Did Jiro get his powers because of the bomb? Is Jiro actually the bomb in human form? It was called Little Boy after all. And also, is Jiro’s blood so powerful that it causes all these side effects because of the bomb?

And what if the Imperial Ads Guy is saying that he wants to return the timeline to the one without superhumans. Basically, our timeline! I don’t even know, but I’m itching to find out more. The preview teases this new film, some more Jiro flashbacks and an Equus-NUTS battle. The screws are tightening.
